Long way: crowded & noisy but it takes 30 minutes to reach home. You but your bottom lip. "ugh, I'll take the risk." You grunts, And so, you heads for the shortcut. you tilts your head backwards, looking up to the grey sky, heavy clouds are rolling in above. You quickens your pace, hugging the groceries tightly. "DONT THINK YOU CAN RUN AWAY YOU PUNK!" a husky voice yells from an alley in front . "uh oh," you murmurs & speeds up only to be bumped hardly by the shoulder from your left. "OOOf!" "ARGH!" You rolls on the ground . Your groceries scatter all over the place, just to add things to your bad luck. It rains. You picks yourself up, grunting in pain.
Apparently, you're not the only one. A boy in front of you gets up quickly & gives you his deathly glare. "you!" He hisses, slightly in pain . "WOIT!" Someone yells from his back. He turns around & curses under his breath. Without a minute to lose, he flips his skateboard. "come on" A hand reach out for yours & he pulls you along with him. "Ah, wait!" "shut up & just follow me." He sounds angry. Seeing the wild look on his face, you wouldn't dare to argue. Before you know, the two of you reach a playground under the heavy rain .
Not much of a gentleman, he shoves you into the large pipe & gets in after you. "move move lady!" He urges. You obliges quietly . "what have I got myself into?!" You slaps yourself mentally. "u should've take the long way." You hung your head low. "The hell lady?! they almost caught!" He suddenly explodes at you. Your jaw drops. "excuse me?! I didn't ask for this okay?!" You snaps . YOU'RE SAYING THIS MY FAULT?!" He baffles. "you could have left me there," "well yeah, and get yourself raped?" He hit right on the spot . "rape?" "those guys ain't good guy," he sighs, raking his wet hair with his fingers behind. "we're stuck here," he pats his skateboard .
"my skateboard's wet." He sounds annoyed. "it'll ruin," he adds. "I need a new skateboard then." He clucks his tongue. "hey. . ." You calls . You hugs your knees, hoping that it will warm you up somehow. "Uhh, its not my place to ask you but why were they chasing you?" He looks at you down his nose. "what's it to you?" "just asking, grumpy." You roll your eyes. "i'm not grumpy." He mutters. "sounds like it" Your phone then rings, "hello?" you answers. "ah? I'm taking shelter somewhere, sorry. Oh? You're sure? I.. . .kay," you hang up your phone .
"Thanks to you, my friends are eating outside after this without me & i'm hungry. I don't like it when i'm hungry!" You raises your voice . "how is this my fault?!" "it just is!" You burst out & then hide your face between your knees. "ugh, i'm hungry. ."fine, since it's 'my fault', I'll treat you to dinner." He snorts. "I don't want it," "take it or leave it." "take it." You says quickly . The rain finally stops & it's already dark outside. "let's go." He jerks his head, getting out of the pipe. You follows him from behind .
The two of you walks in silence as he busy checking the damage to his skateboard. "skateboard can't be hit by water." He explains . "and groceries can't be scattering on the dirty ground" "touche," he answers. "where do you wanna eat?" "anywhere nice." "Uhh, okay?" You hear a hiphop music from his pocket. His phone. "hello? Nope. I'll eat outside. Yeah yeah, it's okay. Sorry hyung. Got it" he hang up . You notice the skateboard key chain hanging on the phone. there's a few letters written on the back of the skateboard. "Zelo?" "hmm?" .
"ah, no, i'm just reading that," you point at the skateboard keychain. "oh this? My name." He cocks his head a little. "oh, I see." "I know a good place to eat. You eat hotpot?" He suddenly asks, bumping your shoulder, indirectly telling you to turn left. "yeah," "cool" It takes you 15 minutes to reach the hotpot stall that Zelo was going on about while on your way here. you enters the tent & grabs a seat . Zelo settles himself in front of you & ordered the food as a waiter comes to take the order. "just plain water." You orders. "what she says"
Waiting by a couple of minutes, your food comes & the two of you doesn't waste any time on it. Zelo stops eating & watches you instead . "are you even a lady?" He coughs. You chokes on your food. "what's that supposed to mean?" You frowns. "eat slowly will ya." "starving" "oh?" Zelo looks up & beams. "haha, hyung!" He waves. You turns around & sees five, amazingly gorgeous young men heading towards your seat, You swallows. "who are they?" "my hyungs." "huh?" Zelo gets up & somewhat does what boys do when they meet their close friend.
You just sits there, enjoying your food quietly. "who's this?" A guy with a deep voice asks. "I have no idea." Zelo answers & earns a smack. The five guys grab the nearest stools & sits around the table. "yongguk," he flashes his gummy smile. "Jongup, Himchan, Youngjae & Daehyun" "Uhh, ___?" You sheepishly smiles at them. Daehyun then, pulls Zelo by the neck with his shoulder. "you got a girl & didn't you tell us?!" . "she's not my girl. I bumped into her-" "and made my groceries scatter all over the place." "well, yeah. If only you weren't there."
You snorts unpleasantly & cross your arms. "if only you weren't in trouble." You snaps at him. "you were in trouble?" Himchan asks Zelo . The tall guy just shrugs his shoulder. "Well, yeah. 'they' attacked me. I didn't even go near their place." "understandable" yongguk says . Jongup stabs the table with his pocket knife, startling you. "they attack anyone who's in Mato." "I heard they beat up L.joe of Teen Top" . "last week," Daehyun added, "woohyun & Zico was admitted into the hospital." "they too?!" "yeap." You're lost in the conversation .
"whoah, what? Are you guys are gangsters or something?" "yeah," the six chorus together as if it's not a big deal. You could've fainted . "oh," "yeah, we work under BIGBANG," Zelo says, sitting down on his stool. "GD hyung is the leader among the leaders" "the best!" Zelo nods . "so, Uhh," hearing the hesitation in your voice yongguk purposely goes, "boo." "ahh, don't hit mehhhh!" You shrieks. "haha, she's cute." Daehyun & Himchan high five each other & you frowns. "ain't cool." "nope, not at all." Yongguk put his hands up like he's surrendering .
"calm down, we're the nice guys." Zelo assured. For the first time that grumpy look on his face is replaced with a smile. "we appreciate it if you keep this a secret." Himchan smiles charmingly at you. "ah, sure." "you're done eating?" Zelo jerks his head, That night, the BAP sent you home. Just in case their magnae got attacked again, they'll be there to help. "you live here?" Zelo asks, "NOW THAT I RECALL, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME OUR MAGNAE WALKS A GIRL HOME!!" Himchan purposely yells. "I KNOW!!" Yongguk joins in .
"AWWW, LOOK AT HIM BLUSHING!!" Youngjae adds. "GUYS, WILL YOU SHUDDUP?!" Zelo roars at them, rising his skateboard as if to attack. Due to instinct, all five hyungs move backwards, "whoah whoah whoah!" Daehyun laughs. "buzz off," Zelo mutters . "HEAR THAT?! HE WANTS TO BE ALONE WITH THE GIRL~" jongup coo. "I could rip you people into pieces," you hear Zelo grunts quietly . You can't help yourself but to laugh at him. "thanks for today." You bows at Zelo as soon as you reaches home. "uhm, yeah, bye." Zelo nods . Just as Zelo walks away, Himchan approaches you. He flips out his phone. "phone number," he insists. "huh?" "just as friends." He smiles,
"wait Zelo!" Himchan calls out as he sets a hand on your shoulder. Zelo turns around, eyes widen. "the hell?!" Himchan kisses you . After that, Himchan grins stupidly at the magnae. "whatever," Zelo grunts & walks away. Yongguk just shakes his head in amusement. "see ya," Next morning, you goes out for a jog, "yo, ___," you hears Zelo's voice. "oh, hey." You blinks, confused why is he here? "morning," "morning," he salutes you. Then, he flips his skateboard. "new one." He shows you. "oh, that's cool." You beams. "wanna try?"
"can I?" "sure," he turns slightly red. you hold onto his wrist, getting on the skateboard. He then pulls you slowly, "you're okay?" "yeah" "whoah," you lose balance for a while & leans against him slightly. "careful." "sorry," you laughs. "what are you doing here?" You asks him . He can't exactly tell you that he wants to see you again. "I was testing the skateboard then you came out." He was waiting for you actually. "uhm, that kiss yesterday. sorry," Zelo apologizes. "Himchan hyung is sort of a player, don't feel burden," "ah! Right, okay. Thanks"
"uhm, you don't mind if I.. . ." "huh?" You looks up to him. He smiles again & your heart does a flip. "what?" You blinks. He then, wipes your mouth with his sleeve. "there, no more Himchan hyung." He says. you blinks & laughs. "you're cute." He blushes hard. "SH-shut up," he coughs, "and if I won't?" You teases. "then, this." He pulls harshly by the collars & kisses you. "I'll kiss you." "he just kissed her." "he totally did." "I got a picture of it" "our jelo has grown up." "he cheated on me," you turns to see BAP sniffing. "HYUUUUUUUUNG!!" Zelo yells & chases after them. "get a life!" You softens at the sight. "oh, gorsh, guys!" You trails behind them .
Zelo stops & turns to you, stretching his hands to you. "come on, let's go." His face is red, "yeah, let's go." You giggles, taking his hand . "you better thank me later, ___ - Kimchi Himchi." You read the text you received. "hey, Zelo?" "yeah?" "let's treat your hyungs to lunch."
